Are you looking for a delicious treat? These gluten free double chocolate brownies are great as an afternoon snack or dessert or even breakfast - I won't judge. They are fudge and gooey and full of flavor. Best of all they are gluten free, and way better than you would get at Starbucks.

What's in Gluten Free Double Chocolate Brownies?
Need that chocolate fix? Don't worry, we'll have you sorted out in no time at all. These gluten free brownies use simple ingredients like:
- Gluten Free Flour (I love Bob's Red Mill 1-1 Gluten Free Flour Blend and King Arthur Gluten Free 1-1)
- Butter
- Sugar
- Eggs
- Vanilla extract
- Salt
- Cocoa Powder
- Semi sweet chocolate chips, chunks, or chopped chocolate bars

There are all things you may already have on hand, and they are all super simple ingredients. Nothing artificial or odd here - just plan good stuff.
Best of all these double chocolate brownies are gluten free, but no one would ever guess it. They taste just like the ones at Starbucks, but are much fresher.
If you're new to the world of baking, welcome! If you've never made brownies before, they can be a bit special.
How to Make Gluten Free Double Chocolate Brownies
Now that you've got your ingredients together, here's how to make these gluten free Starbucks brownies.
Microwave your butter in 15 second increments to get it mostly melted, then add the granulated sugar, and whisk it.

After that, go ahead and add the eggs and vanilla and whisk some more. Now we've got all are wet ingredients together!
Next, sift in the gluten free flour, salt and cocoa powder.

Mix it all together well with the spatula.
Now we're ready to add the chocolate! Fold 1 and ½ cups into the mixture. We're going to save the rest for the top after we put it in the pan.

Spread the brownie mixture into your lined pan. Top with the rest of your chocolate. Doesn't that look good? Feel free to snag a piece for yourself.

Now, bake your brownies for 20-25 minutes, let cool, and enjoy!

Maybe not too cool though, there's really nothing like a warm brownie!
Here's some questions you may have
How long should brownies be cooked?
These gluten free brownies should bake for 20-25 minutes. Be sure to check with a toothpick, we want it to be clean when it comes out.
Why is the middle of my brownies not cooking?
They may actually be cooked if you have followed the directions! Be sure to check with a toothpick and you can even check with an instant read thermometer. We want to see a temperature of 210F.
Because these brownies have so much chocolate, they can be a bit gooey, which may make you think they are undercooked!
What should I have with these gluten free Starbucks brownies?
I'm a big fan of coffee with these brownies since I used to get them at Starbucks. Tea and nice cold milk are also great suggestions for something to have with them. They also go great with ice cream!
